Inductive sensors


Inductive proximity sensors are designed for wear-free and non-contact detection of metal objects. For this purpose they use a high-frequency electromagnetic AC field that interacts with the target. TURCK inductive sensor strengths are the enormous durability, reliability, high switching frequencies and a long service life. Through a unique coil concept the TURCK uprox®+ sensors offer the highest switching distance, factor 1 for all metals and, right from the start, the highest operational safety through simple and safe installation. Magnetic field sensors

Magnetic field sensors are used in particular for contactless detection of the piston position in pneumatic cylinders. Using a patented operating principle, our magnetic field sensors detect permanent magnets of different strength attached to the piston in all common cylinders error-free. The sensors operate wear-free, are short-circuit proof, rugged and IP67 rated. We also offer solutions for use in welding or hazardous areas as well as for analog queries.

IO-link inductive sensors

Turck is now offering its flagship uprox3 sensor also in an IO-Link-capable version. The intelligent interface makes the factor 1 inductive proximity switch a universal sensor that can be parameterized to suit over 100,000 individual requirements. For example, the two separately adjustable switching distances (each either NC or NO, as well as PNP or NPN) enable early warning functions to be set for targets subject to wear. The user can thus take action already before a failure occurs. Various timer functions can also be set, for example an off-delay for speed monitoring. These options are already possible in I/O mode, in which the sensor can be operated on a conventional digital input.

Food grade IP68-IP69K

uprox®+ sensors from TURCK are the perfect solution for dairies, breweries, industrial bakeries, frozen food, packaging and filling applications. They are absolutely tight and resistant to cleaning agents and disinfectants and well exceed the rerquirements of the protection classes IP68 and IP69K thanks to the LCP front cap and the stainless steel housing.
